It gets better. Your child (and all your special loved ones) are special kinds of containers that are especially made to receive love. Give as much love as you want and as often as you want, and there will always be room for more. Filling your child with love is like providing him or her with an ongoing supply of fuel for success.

No matter what is going on with your child, you can react (respond) in a positive, warm, and supportive way. Even if a situation turns out to be your child’s fault, and even if you need to withdraw a reward or give a consequence, you can do so in a caring manner.
