Do you ever notice that “When some parents speak, their children listen!”

While it might be easy to attribute such great parental success to having naturally well-behaved children, it is actually the parents who deserve the praise.

They are parents who know how to handle their children. They are fair (explained two posts below) and firm (explained one post below that), and they know they are positive.

Parenting Technique 6 – Make your expectations clear – by knowing you are positive! 

“You are your child’s first and most important teacher.” Day in and day out you are all about teaching. All of your actions are focused on your child’s well-being. It is you, the one and only you, who helps your child know what to do, when to do it, and how to get along in their everyday world. That is positive!
