Dr. Sally Says… Your toddler can follow simple directions.  He likes to besides.

 

Bring Me a…

Age Range: One year

Area Being Developed: Social (Personality and Character)

Give your toddler some simple directions. Have fun together as you both see how well he carries them out. Here are some suggestions:

  • Please bring me the ball.
  • Please bring me a towel.
  • Please bring me my cell phone.

Do not forget to say thank you after each direction.

NOTE: The way to teach your child to say “please” and “thanks you” is to say “please” and “thank you” to your child… And it is never too early too start!
