Various communities across the country offer state-of-the-art classes in different ways at different times, and Fountain Hills, AZ is one of them.
One exciting course being taught now at the Fountain Hills Community Center is “Meditation!” Each year it gains in popularity. Virginia Ray, certified meditation and mindfulness instructor (US and India), teaches this class.
“Teaching through Play” has just been added. This program, for parents and grandparents of children birth to three, is designed to help adults make the most of their time with little ones. “Early years are learning years,” and every minute counts! Children grow continuously in five areas of development–cognitive, motor, social/emotional, language and self-esteem, and there is not a moment to waste.
We all play a role in helping young children grow and develop, and this class teaches what you can do, when and how. Each activity is research-backed, and that is very nice too.
This particular class is based on the new award-winning book Fun Baby Learning Games by Sally Goldberg, Ph.D. I will be teaching it myself in Fountain Hills. I will also do spinoffs in various locations. Look for these in your city:
