Tip 99 – Use fats in recommended proportions.
For fats in general a tablespoon (adult size) and a teaspoon (child size) are recommended portion sizes. Mayonnaise, butter, and olive oil are most common. Avocados (vegetable) and almonds (protein) are the other suggested fats.
Fats have a bad name, but either following the recommended amounts or the specific types can still keep you on the right track.
