'Twas our very first Barbie And to our chagrin Her clothing was lacking It gave us a spin
We searched all around For clothing to buy Lingerie, strippers Nothing would fly
We walked into Wal-mart Seeking a break Slutty attire Was all for the take
Nurses and doctors Bosoms and butts Soon we did find We were stuck in a rut
Came up with a plan We'll start a business! Re-clothing the clan!
Taking our Barbie, With behind a'show'n Paper was wrapped Now Courtney's a-glow'n
Oh, won't you look! Won't you giggle with glee! We now have a Barbie That's less than slutty!
Courtney is happy, My daughter is numb Why do these Barbies All seem so bumb?
Give us some brains And give us some class Give me a Barbie That's more than just ass
Give me a Barbie Who might understand How to explain Her purpose at hand
Hard working women Females and moms We're more than just booty, High heels and bombs
We're smart and we're brainy We're clever and kind Where is THAT Barbie? Why can't we find?
Sadly the Barbie Was placed in my car Stuffed in the door From my daughter, afar
Come now you dollies You toys and you games Teach my dear daughter For what she can aim
Toys we shall buy That stimulate brains Our very first Barbie No longer remains
By Shara Lawrence-Weiss - Mommy Perks *The Barbie was given to my daughter as a gift. We did not purchase the Barbie ourselves. |

Happy Holiday glad we got to chat!
My firstborn has a few Barbies that friends gave her for her birthday, and I brought some of mine from my parents' home for her to play with. The interest waned quickly, though. She'd much rather read mysteries and play outside.
Nice, missy! LOVE!
