Oh...how I love picture books and books with simple text for beginning readers.

Today I'm featuring a book called Kiss Kiss!

This book was inside a hand made book bag that we purchased from a local arts/crafts show.The woman who creates the book bags slips one book inside each pouch. As a former teacher, she clearly knows the value of simple books for young children (thank you!).

This sweet book tells the story of a baby hippo who woke up, was in a rush to play, ran off and forgot to kiss his mama good morning.

As he waddled through the mud, around the rocks, up the bank, through the grass and under the trees...he realized: no kiss! He heard other babies kissing their mamas and soon turned back - so he could run home to his mother for a morning kiss.
